How it's set up
This technical practice takes place in a 20 by 20-yard area and focuses on developing passing when playing in a diamond setup. We setup by placing 4 mannequins in a diamond shape, with players starting as shown in the session image. To begin, the player with the ball (9) will dribble around the mannequin and pass forward to (6). After the pass, (9) and (7) will rotate positions. (6) will dribble forward and pass to (8) who will repeat the sequence from the other direction. Players will pass in this sequence until they are comfortable, allowing you to progress the session.
