How it's set up

This practice takes place in a 30 by 40-yard area and focuses on Phase 1 Build up play, specifically developing movements and patterns when building from the back in a 4231 setup. We have a 42 attacking setup up against a 231 defensive setup. The objective is for the attacking team to play penetrating passes between the lines and finish in any mini goal. If the defenders win possession, they must finish within 3 passes. Each time the ball goes out of play or a goal is scored, the attacking team (42 setup) start with the ball.
