How it's set up

This fun practice takes place in a 20 by 30-yard area and encourages dribbling, running with the ball and finishing. We setup by dividing players into three even teams, with each player starting with a ball and being assigned a number (7-8-9 in this example). Players will dribble around the first area, until the coach calls out a number. The three players assigned to that number must break out of the zone into space, dribble across the middle zone and finish in any mini goal. If players miss the goal, they are out of the game and must run behind the goal to collect balls. If they score, they must collect their ball and rejoin the initial dribbling zone. This continues until the final 3 players, who on your call must race to be the 1st player to finish.
