How it's set up
This 4 v 4 + 3 possession practice focuses on building play with a back three and a midfield three while utilising floaters. The practice is conducted in a 20 by 25-yard area with two mini goals positioned at either end. The objective is for the team in possession to complete a minimum of five passes before utilising one of the end floaters to combine and finish. Players in possession are restricted to their designated zones, while the floaters and defenders have the freedom to move. If the defenders win possession, they must look to combine with a floater and finish in the mini goals as quickly as possible.
